Next year, I'm going to UCLA to get a master's degree and secondary ELA credential. I'm not sure if I want to hang around Los Angeles much longer after I graduate, but in the event that I do, how difficult would it be to find employment at a school in LAUSD or one of the other districts in the LA/Orange County/SoCal area?

LA Unified is always hiring. Friend of mine went through the UCLA program this year and already has a job despite not being finished. They hired her as soon as they could. Granted, she's science but still.

edjoin.org is a great place to find job announcements. There's usually many announcements at any given time.
