OK, I know I've got it good. My husband, when he's not teaching, works part time with a photographer's studio. He has the know-how and the equipment. So we've never gone out for professional pictures of the kids; our walls are full of pictures he's taken.

But just a reminder for all of you who will be hitting Sears or Pennys or the Picture People: do your pictures EARLY!!! (we're doing ours on Monday... we always aim for Veteran's Day weekend.)

The places will be less crowded, so the photographer will be able to spend more time (and energy) with your kids. And, more importantly, your kids won't be waiting for an hour, bored to tears and ready to explode, before their turn comes up.

If you're having pictures done, call today and make that appointment!

I did my kids' Christmas pictures the first weekend in October. I already have them back and almost ready to mail out to family. I ususally do them around Thanksgiving and it is always busy and crowded. Definitely do them early!

I did have an appointment scheduled. The other day Cameron and Gracie were playing around in the tub, they had bubbles hanging from their chin. I quickly ran to go grab santa claus hats and the camera. Although, this pic won't be professional it sure will be adorable! I'll see if I can post it up here...

Thanks!!! It's funny how sometimes the most unplanned pictures turn out great. Who would of ever thought I would be using my kids in a bath tub for a holiday card? I still love those professional shots where every one looks so perfect and the set up is just right. Alice your lucky it is at your finger tips!!
