Has anyone stumbled upon an online database that will tell you the genre of a novel?

Most of the time, we can determine the genre simply by reading the synopsis but there are those few titles that fall into those "grey areas". I usually use my best judgment but it would be nice to find an authority on the matter.

    Thanks in advance. ;)

I agree...would love to have a place to check to see if my judgement is correct.

Have you seen Scholastic's Book Wizard before? You can type in a book title and it gives you the reading level and other info. They do have a genre category. It's in the left-hand corner, under the image of the book. I hope this helps!
