I'm needing to make many large posters this year, and I have a great kraft brown paper to use. I'm worried about using regular poster markers-I'm not sure they will show up.

Does anyone know of a gel marker? You know those gel pens that you can write on black paper with? I want a really thick tip marker like that. Any ideas?

What about those paint/marker things, where you have to stick the marker back into the little can its in? Does anyone know what I am talking about? I have no idea what they are called but out activities coordinator uses them.

I know exactly what you mean! I was trying to think of the name of those as I was scrolling down. My mom was the student gov't sponsor my whole childhood and her kids always used these. They were so cool! Cheerleaders used them, too, to make the signs the football players tore through when they ran onto the field.

    Not sure, silver.

I ordered the Gel markers a few minutes ago. I'm hoping they work!! I want the posters to really pop, and I think these will help!

Those are Paint Markers. You can get them at WalMart, I know....and at hardware stores.

Next time, just try the paint pens. They come in a ton of different colors and the paint is opaque and permanent. They show up on everything.

I have both regular and metallic gel markers that are great! I found them at a craft store.

Hi Jem, try googling and you will get plenty of results. You could choose the one you like from them.
