Does anyone have any ideas for a circus theme? I'd like to incorporate letter and number review. I'm looking for fun activities that will allow for teachable moments.

We are having circus week coming up at the end of June. In preparation they are making circus animal masks next week (a lion, elephant, etc.). Then they'll parade around the "big top".
We will have juggling one day (good way to incorporate numbers) and one day magic tricks. Another day will be "clowning around" and they'll make clown collars, big shoes and we'll paint their faces.
For letters we are not doing this for circus week but for our field events day....they all make their own letters, one Uppercase, one lower case. Make big enough to hang around neck and line kids up. One has upper one has lower and they need to match up with their "partner".
Let us know what you have planned!!
