I am taking the exam next month for the first time and am very very scared! I have heard so many mixed reviews that I dont know what to believe any more. Can anyone give me any helpful pointers and tell me if this test is really as hard as some people say Thanks! Vicky
If you're terrified of tests, it may provide you with some scares. If you're not terrified of tests, it probably won't make you scared. How are you as a test taker, and what domains have you the most concerned?
I just took it today for the first time and PASSED! It wasn't bad at all. I was very nervous after reading all the posts on here of people taking it numerous times. I have zero education background. Just study the information and sample questions on the study guide you get from the state- the questions were almost identical. I purchased a study guide from marquismediagroup.com for $25 that was very helpful too (arrived in about a week). Good Luck!
I am a pretty good test taker but I always get nervous before any exam. My weakness is without a doubt math. I think that is the section I fear the most. Do you have any suggetions for me that may help me feel better prepared?
Math makes me the most nervous too, it really wasn't bad at all- if anything the science was tougher than I thought it would be. For math just make sure you can remember the basics (circumference, area, fractions, mean and median, and probability). I found this website: 321know.com to be a great refresher- they have tutorials to help practice.

I PASSED Hey Guys- I took my FCTE K-6 test today and I passed. I had taken it before and missed by 5 points. My personal advice check, re-check and check again.
