Anyone have ideas to store books in your classroom so they books are facing forward? The one I like at Lakeshore is $300...to much for my budget. :eek:hmy: (I like it because it has two rows of book bins that will hold 100 books) I currently use bins on the floor but would like something that looks a little nicer.

Rain gutter material attached to the wall.

Target often sells $1 baskets if you keep an eye out of the dollar section.

Dishtubs from the dollar store, set on the shelves of a bookcase.

mopar - I love the rain gutter idea but since our school keeps changing our classrooms I need something that is not permanent.

Maybe a shoe organizer (you know the one that has the clear pockets that you put shoes in). You could probably fit a book or two in each pocket.

How about screwing the rain gutters to a piece of plywood, say 4 pieces and them using heavy duty picture hangers to put on the wall. This way you can remove it when you want. It would be a cheap solution.

Or make a book holder that can stand on the floor...
