Free Teacher Websites

    I want to create a website for class. I wanted to know if anyone knows of a great free website were I can create one for my class. I looked into teacherweb.com. However with 2 school age kids and a toddler, I can't really afford something to much. Any ideas?:help:

    You basically want some decent free hosting.

    If you want great free hosting, you'd have to find someone to host it for you.

    Go to scholastic.com you can make one there for free.

    I use blogger. It's not like a typical class website, but I prefer it because it is more interactive. You can post links on the side to specific posts.

    i use freewebs.com LOVE IT! it's so easy that i made THREE sites!

    I'm also using freewebs.com My page is still a work in progress, but it's really easy to use :)

    so I had some major issues with freewebs (inappropriate ads), so I found a FREE ad free site. It was so easy, it took me less than an hour to get my basic site up.

    wikispaces.com has been terrific! and as an educator you can get a better kind for free.

    I've actually not done the power teacher, but I've taken our school wide rules, and ideas I got from on here to make those ones. :lol:
