Hi folks, I’m continuing to upload Ogg versions of my music tracks onto Gumroad. While the free MP3 files on my website sound very good, the Ogg files sound absolutely amazing…almost as good as the original WAV files from which they were derived (but much, much smaller in size.) They're great for software and website development where smaller file size is necessary and are a cool way to help support my work. Tracks that have Ogg versions available have an "Ogg" button under them...simply click on it. Enjoy...and please feel free to share your projects if you wish...I love to see how creative people are using my work!

 

Big news, guys! All of my tracks on my Dark/Ominous page are now available as very high quality Ogg files. They sound amazing…almost as good as the original WAV files that they were created from…and are much much smaller in size…perfect for videogames. Give them a try.

On that note, some people have asked me why I’m offering Ogg files when they can simply convert my free MP3 tracks to Ogg themselves. You are certainly welcome to do this, but it won’t increase the quality of the tracks at all because you’re starting with MP3. The reason my Ogg files sound so great is that I’m creating them from my original WAV recordings.

Bulk Music Downloads are now available for these genres: Chiptunes, Fantasy, Puzzle and Sci-Fi.

I’ve received an increasing number of requests to make my music tracks available as bulk downloads (rather than having to download them one at a time) so that people can load them into their media players and listen to them while doing other things. Now you can download all of the tracks at once from these genres as Ogg music packs.

I’ve finally begun my quest to begin expanding the ambient sounds section of my website… sound effects, too. Both sections really need it and it’s taken much too long to get around to it, but life has been hectic. Anyhow, I hope some of them are helpful. More to come!
