Ok I was wondering if anyone knew any info about getting free samples of curriculum series from companies. For example SRA just sent me the adoption kit(free sample kit) for the Reading Mastery Series A and B. I want to know how and who will ive me kits to try out math programs, phonics programs etc..
    Thanks in advance

    Michelle:)

You might want to check with the librarian, or whoever keeps the catalogues that come into the school. When you find one that you like, give them a call and ask them if they provide samples. I have found that most big publishing companies are only too happy to send out examples of their publications. It's a cheap and easy way to get a feel for a program.

Do you have any particular companies that you have used?

I'm drawing a blank right now, only McGraw-Hill, SRA, and Addison-Wellesley come to mind - when I get back to school on Monday, I'll check it out and send you some of the companies' names.
