GREAT SITE! I had fun. What breed of dog are you?
I'm either a lab or a golden I couldn't make up my mind on a couple questions and for cats I'm a Abyssinian.

Ok, so how do we see what the characteristics of these other breeds are? Is there a way to do that/ I would love to see what your animal means! :)

Grammy, a German Shepherd, eh? Did the definition fit you? Now I really don't know much about breeds of cats.......I just know my sister has a siamese, and she is very sassy(the cat, not my sister :) )!!!!!!! That is why I was surprised I was a Siamese........me, sassy? LOL!

Yea, the German Shepherd does fit me. Kinderkids...self confident, direct, loyal , protective, and people who know me find me easy to approach and fun, those who don't know me find me aloof....
    This is a fun site!

I don't know you personally, but that sure fits how I would describe you! Wow, that is too weird how that works. I felt the labrador retriever definition fit me as well. Now, I need to go back and see what the Siamese definition was........I didn't look at it too close because I was laughing too hard when that came up.

Siamese Cat: "known as the great communicator. You not only communicate with your voice, but also with your body - which means no one ever accuses you of mixed signals. Your keen insight and intelligence make you the go-to person whenever there is a problem, and because of your love of people, you have no problem offering your opinion or advice. " (is that the kind way of saying I'm opinionated????????)

Well, that's funny..............I think I am a siamese cat! LOL! It really describes me to a tee!

    Hey Ya'll,
I've just wasted 2 hours catching up on this thread. You guys and your pets are so funny. We have a lasa apsa who keeps us entertained. Spoiled and expects everyone she meets to treat her in the manner to which she is accustomed. She likes to go out into the front yard and brag to the neighbor dogs when she's out. They all sit at their respective picture windows to keep tabs on each other.

That is so funny that all the dogs in the neighborhood sit in the picture window. My mom's min pin likes to sit on the end table to look out her window.

My dog sits at our kitchen french doors that lead to our backyard........waiting for the cats to come over. He lets us know the moment they are creeping around our backyard, by my bird feeder!

I'm new to this thread...haven't read the whole 10 pages (wow!!), but I have a puppy brag that needed a "home"!

Our local Ritter's Frozen Yogurt hosts a Dog's Night Out once a month complete with a dish of free ice cream (and water) for the dogs as well as a themed costume contest. This past Monday was our first time taking our 3 month old Puggle, Dixie. There were at least 20 other dogs there. My kids had a blast seeing all the dogs in their Halloween (this month's theme) costumes and eating their own ice cream...but, the highlight of the evening was when Dixie WON the costume contest in her cow costume (I'm sure the fact that at 8 pounds she was the smallest dog there, helped her win). We were so proud...and thrilled to take home the Chocolate Peanut Butter frozen yogurt cake she won for us!!

I don't think I will be costuming my dogs this halloween........I've done it in the past, but my little one gets too cold....he's going to stay home this year.

I've just bought an Old Navy Howloween collar. My dog wouldn't leave the costume on long enough for a picture. We've also made neckerchiefs for each holiday.

LOL! I bought a cute halloween scrunchy type collar at PetSmart last year for Lizzie. I put it on her and she just laid there and stared at me. It didn't take me long to get the message! :)

We kept spending so much on collars at PetSmart! We saw this collar one day at Old Navy and decided to get it. If you go after each holiday or season, they're usually on sale for even cheaper. Full price they're $3.99, but on sale you can get them for as cheap as $0.89! We're working on getting one for each holiday and season.

That'll be so cute! How long do you think the costumes will stay on? My dog tried to rip the wings off one year. It was so funny!

I have to say, after the afternoon I've had there was nothing like walking in the door and having Lizzie running and meeting me at the door. She always does that. She never fails to meet me at the door after I've been gone (5 minutes or 5 hours). She is my first inside cat so I didn't realize they would do that. I really needed that purring loving snuggle though. :)
