Walmart, Target, and Staples all run huge summer sales on school supplies. Stock up on everything from pencils and red pens to binders to hold your own notes. (This is aside from anything you buy for your classes-- I don't buy ANYTHING for my high schools students-- it's all for my own kids and Peter and me.) -- even high school kids LOVE stickers on tests when they do well. Stock up when you find them over the summer, and give them to any grade of 90 or better.
