Other than Dibels, what kind of testing is state and/or district required? How many times a year? What times of the year?

We have GKIDS (Georgia kinder test). It is due 4 times a year, and specifies the skills we are to assess.

Private. We don't use Dibels but had some childre that came to us from VPK that were to be tested. I think it was actually FLKRS. Do you use other testing?

I teach at a charter school and we use FLKRS and FAIR. FLKRS is done in September. FAIR is done three times a year, once in September, once in December/January, and once in March/April.

FLICKRS, FAIR, district made math assessments (beginning of year, middle of year, end of year) and writing assessment (twice in year, Dec. and Feb).

If this "merit pay" gets forced through though we may have to return to SAT 10 or some other form of standardized testing (hope not).

What is FAIR? Is it State or district required? Is it available to private schools? Thanks!

Our district uses FLKRS (state-wide)at the beginning of the year and FAIR (which is state-wide) 3 times a year, plus we do common assessments in math, reading/LA and writing 3 times a year. I don't know if FAIR is available for private school. I am thinking no-since the state paid big bucks for it.
