My 3rd class class from NYC would love to exchange Stanley's from other states or countries.

Anyone up for a Stanley Swap? PM if interested

I've done Stanley for years but I'm not ready to start an exchange right now.

Register on the Flat Stanely web site and exchange with people/teachers from all over the world.

Hi can you please explain to me, and others that don't know (I hope I'm not the only one), what a Stanley swap is?

I've googled it but can't post the link at the moment, I'm still not quite sure what is involved though.

My 3rd grade class is reading Flat Stanley. It is about a boy who becomes flat when a bulletin board falls on him at night. He wants to go visit one of his friends in Cali, so he gets in an envelope and goes through USPS.

I am looking for a few classrooms from all over the country (or outside the country) to send a paper Stanley to. Your class will host him and write about (and take pics) the things you have done together. Right now, we are hosting a Stanley from Oregon. This exchange is great for teaching gepgraphy, writing and ties into reading.
