So I am going to San Francisco Monday Morning! :D:D
It is my first time going so I was hoping A to Z could tell me some cool/interesting places I should see while I am there (I will be there for a week). Any restaurants that are a must see? I am 20 years old, so keep that in mind.

    So far I plan on:
    1. California Academy of Sciences
    2. Beach!
    3. Botanical Garden
    4. Japenses Tea Garden
    5. Gold Gate Bridge
    6. Visit Berkeley
    7. Walk down Haight and Ashbury
    8. China Town

I am also planning on going to see the Sequoia trees :D

Yay! I live in San Francisco and it's wonderful right now. Will you have a rental car?

The sequoia's are across California where it is dryer and higher. You'll see the redwoods in San Francisco.

Visit Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiradelli Square also.

Yes I am going to rent a car.
I also do plan on seeing the Sequoia trees as well! I am thinking about going over to Yosemite for two days.

Get to the Academy of Sciences early - it gets crowded!
Your list looks great! Bring comfy walking shoes and layers, it can get cool at night.

I went twice: Once as a child & 2nd in Sept 2009 & I'd gladly go again. A full week is nice! All those places you listed sound great. Also, if you're a shopper, you MUST go to the Westfield San Fransisco Centre. It's one, if not the best mall I've ever been to & I've been to many in CA & certain other states.

    Also, how about:

    - de Young Museum
    - San Fransisco Zoo

Go to yelp.com & look up any of the places to read people's reviews.

Go to the Legion of Honor museum. I agree with the mall. They have a great 7 story Macys too. Ride the cable car.

I love Fisherman's Wharf. Ghiradelli Square is a must for my wife. I would definitely do China Town..... and the cable cars are entertaining.

Just plain old "people watching" in S.F. can be a real experience....:p
