Take some walks/brief hikes around, get tons of financials together and start heavily putting times towards planning for the baby, and then probably start working on planning next year out (/working on math competition tests)
Most likely an hour after school is out I will jump into my truck with my 3 German shepherds, towing my new camper trailer and start my journey to Alaska, will return in about 6 weeks. So excited !!!
I’ll sleep in for at least a week until I’ve caught up on rest. I’m going to refinish some furniture and stain the deck.
We're road tripping down to VA to visit some of hubby's family. Gonna take the motorcycles and get some miles. Go to the beach probably.
I honestly exercise everyday regardless of school or not. It helps with my pain management in my leg. Which also helps keep me from popping pain killers.
Grill a steak and have an adult beverage. This year has been one of my toughest, and I’m ready to relax and hit the reset button for next year!
I’m getting a massage as soon as I leave the school on Friday. Thursday is the kids’ last day and I’m determined to be out early on Friday. Then I’ll be doing homework and compiling my Capstone for the next month.
My last day is the 14th. Nothing planned for that first week off except getting the house/farm squared away and my suitcase packed. Flying down to Orlando on the 22nd for a Disney vacay! My favorite place!
There's only one store that sells my favorite wine so when I pass by it on my way home from school on graduation day I'm going shopping
That's a good idea. I actually signed up for a massage membership thing I haven't used because I'm a teacher and a mom and why would I treat myself to a massage, and it's just been racking up roll-over points. I should use it.
It turns out the first thing I did was go be an extra on a film that was shooting locally. Not what I had planned but a fun way to spend a few hours, for sure!
Massages have been my self-care this year lol. My first year it was counseling (because lord knows I needed it), and now that I'm a bit better balanced I decided that I needed massages this year. It's been wonderful and you should definitely use your membership.
Well as soon as I get home that day, I hope to have a glass of wine out on my patio if the weather cooperates. The first week or so of break will be spent sleeping in, getting back into a workout routine, hopefully riding my bike some, and catching up on Netflix shows.
I just got one of those rolling carts from Michael's craft store and I put all the books I want to read on the cart. The whole cart is full already so I have my work cut out for me LOL
My problem is I buy more books before I’ve read the ones in my pile lol. I usually average about 30 books each summer.
I don't really buy too many books. I have won lots of giveaways lately and also get books to review. I just went to a book convention and got at least 20 books from there. I don't have too much time off before summer school starts but I'm hoping to make a good dent in my pile.
Today was our last day. I came home. And the first thing I did? Made sure all my alarms were turned off.
Today is DH's last day. He won't sleep in his first week, though. We are keeping our two grandpuppies while DS/SO go on vacation. That means we are going to have seven dogs next week. DH will be in charge of dogs during his first week off. They like to be fed between 5 and 6 in the morning.
