I was wondering if anyone used First in Math in your school and what your thoughts were on it. Our school is considering purchasing it next year instead of Study Island.

    Thanks!

We don't use either right now in my school. We have looked at Study Island, but just don't have the time to bring the kids to the computer lab as often as we would need.

If you are looking for something in math only---you might try tenmarks.com. It's currently free....

My students LOVE First in Math. They love competing for the most stickers, and the math practice is GREAT! Get this program!

I teach 6th grade and use FIM with my students who are slightly below grade level. They LOVE it!!! Never did I think they would be so excited to earn stickers and open new game levels. It really has improved their confidence and basic skill level. I love it!!!
