tomorrow is my very first day ever! i have a lot planned and i know to go over my procedures numerous times. but i also have some activities for us to do. i do have stuff on the side just in case i need more too! my mentor asked me if i was ready (as we were passing each other in the hall) and i said "sure." she said, "that's what i want to hear." um...i was expecting a bit more than this. i also found out that she leaves as soon as all the kids are gone! the only time for me to ask her questions is on our "specials" break. but i have other things to do then. i don't know. anyways... i'm excited about tomorrow but need to remember...they are NOT my buddies...they are my students! thanks for all the great advice here! you all are fabulous!
