I FINALLY got that call that wanted ME!!!!! :woot: I am so stinking excited! The preschool position I interviewed for offered it to me. The great thing is I don't have to move. The town is about 45 minutes away, very driveable. My son gets to stay in the stellar pre-k he goes to. I know it's crazy that he isn't coming with me, but can you imagine your own toddler in class with you? He goes to a wonderful preschool that helps with developmental delays. My daughter gets to stay in her school. She is super excited about that. Plus, the pay is very compareable with public schools in Arkansas. Now all I have to do is find a sitter that can keep them until I get off work and get to them. I start on August 8th. It is the whole preschool organization orientation. The lady said over 400 people will be there. I am still in a little shock about it. I had a super good feeling when I left the interview. They already had me sign to do my criminal background check and told me have my TB test done. They all but offered me the job. The interview lasted an hour and a half. Longest interview I have ever had. My search for my own classroom started in April 2010. Now I am finally going to see it realized! I am a little nervous about it all too. I imagine that is very normal. Now to add me to that list of teachers for this year! Those of y'all that are still searchin, keep looking. Don't give up, I was nearly there with thinking I made a terrible mistake and God doesn't want me to be a teacher. I took a chance with trying for preschool. I kept my options to more than just public schools around here. It has paid off for me. I pray that those who are looking will be great news very soon.
