It is designed for grades 5/6 but all the activities can be adapted for other grades. There are tons of ideas for file folder games (though they aren't labeled as such) and portable centers. I just browsed through the spelling activities and games and they are great. Lots of things you can copy to Word and print out.

There are tons of math games to print, put some into protective plastic sleeves, and use for all grade levels and math standards. Yes, you do have to search through files called "Week by Week Essentials", but there is a different game for every week of the school year. The games cover skills that are taught (or reinforced) at each grade level K-6, so you could use some for below level reinforcement or other higher level ones for enrichment if you needed or wanted to. They are easy to prepare, and the kids like them. I used them in conjunction with the Take It To Your Seat centers. I hope you find something you can use here!

centers/math games using playing cards. I have used them all year - little prep and the kids love them!

Take pretty colored plain file folders. Paste a 6x8 brown envelope on the back. Put your name on the back. Put the kind of game on the tab. (at rhyming words OR 5 plus math OR whatever) Color your game and glue it on the folder. Leave the same pieces on the large sheet AND laminate then cut out your small pieces and put them in the zipper zip lock baggie. Put the baggie in the envelope, if you don't put the parts in a bag they get caught in the corners and the envelope tears.

There's a Yahoo! group (probably more than one!) that trades folder games... send me a PM or an email if you want the link :)
