Besides this web site, what sites do you visit frequently?
Georgia Learning Connections.
I like how they sequence their lesson plans. If I had seen this when I started with Jeannie I wouldn't have spent a nickel. My only gripe is they don't sequence their science.
I visit www.enchantedlearning.com

I like http://www.preschooleducation.com
www.kidsdomain.com is also another good website for kids as well as teacher.
www.readingatoz.com is nice, too.
Alll of these are teacher blogs, so what you read there is actual experience talking. The one exception is the superintendent's blog, and I truly believe that if every superintendent has the know-how and wit and love-of-community to post a personal blog like this man does, our schools would be much better for it. Yes, I know. I spend far too much time on the internet. But I have learned more from other teacher's sharing, than the university ever taught me.
http://wawasee.blogspot.com/ (This is amazing - an actual school superintendent has a blog, and posts about his schools, rules, etc, for his community to read!!!)

Thanks for the sites, I just printed off work pages from learning page for both levels I have all from the ocean theme, it was great!
We've done the ocean theme and the space theme. I printed the fact sheets out and put them in a binder for a book and the kids really enjoyed them.

I'd give you mine but I'm too new or something...they don't let me post links!
I have a question about a site too, called wetheteachers, but I can't ask because i can't post! I'll try again later...
Hey it worked! Haha, does anyone know about that site?
No...Seems a bit of an X-file to me...
can't post links yet...
but I use the following sites with K-3 students...
And personally I'm addicted to Text Twist on Yahoo! Games (games.yahoo.com/games).
And of course, I love watching movie previews on apple.com/trailers.
I also like to keep up with friends on xanga.com, ringo.com, friendster.com, and classmates.com
Thanks to all who have shared sites! Look forward to checking them out.
