My SO and I are going on a short road trip. We are leaving home (Albuquerque) and we are staying overnight in Santa Fe, then head up to Denver for a couple days, and then to my uncle's little mountain village outside of Boulder.

Anyone familiar with those areas? Any must-dos? Any must-dos for a road trip in general.

    Thanks!

Pack a cooler so you can put your own drinks/snacks incase you're not near a store when you feel like something!

Listening to good music in the car is a must!

CDs are a great idea especially if you're in areas without clear radio stations! We like listening to comedians and music.

I really wanted to go to the Mint in Denver, but they wouldn't allow any kind of bags inside and we were parked far away and were worried about leaving them in the car. But that could be interesting, just look and see what they allow in the mint. Also, you can sit at the one-mile marker step at the State Capitol or go to the Molly Brown house which was alright. Have fun on your trip!

Have fun! Don't know about the area, but for the car, pack up:

    - plenty of CDs
    - plenty of snacks
    - cooler (you can get more ice when the 1st amt melts)
    - camera
    - roll or two of paper towels
    - bottle of rubbing alcohol & bandaids just in case
