As excited as I am about going to Kindergarten next year, I know I can't forget about my third graders this year When I go back next week after Spring Break we will have 2 weeks until our state test. What are your favorite ways to review content subjects like science and social studies? My grade level wants to do a lot of testing review (we've been doing it all year anyways) to make sure that they are comfortable with the way questions might be worded as well as using a bubble sheet sporadically over those two weeks. So, how do you review?
Jeopardy type questions, but the students answer on a bubble sheet. We also use other review games with students answering on the bubble sheet (Who Wants to be a Millionaire, 25000 Pyramid, etc). Partner/table tests Students write questions and then switch with a partner Practice tests with time component (answer a question every 2 minutes for math) or overall time for reading.
