I seemed to keep it off my clothes when I was teaching (somehow) but my 3 yo got a dry erase book today and got black marker all over her pink and white shirt. I tried alcohol and it worked to get some of the stain out, but the darker spots are being stubborn. What works for you?

I use a babywipe in school as soon as I see any marker on my clothes...seems to help stains from setting.

Thanks for the suggestions. I still haven't had any luck with that shirt. :( I tired everything. I got all the spots out except the darkest one. It has faded a lot. I think the problem is that it is ground into the fibers. You almost have to scrape off the dry erase to get it out. I had the best luck by rubbing Germ-X into the spots and scraping with my fingernail.

sometimes I'll make a paste w/ a little water and some tide detergent and then work it into the fabric with my fingernail, then add some shout or spray n wash.
