    Hi!

We are doing a music theme for the month of April. What is your favorite music picture book that you read? I like Zin Zin a Violin-any others?

One hand, one hand, drumming on a drum. I love that book!!!!!

I have read it to school age children with rhythm sticks and had them tap along w/the pattern of the poem.

Five Live Bongos, Ben's Trumpet, Peter and the Wolf and Carnival of the Animals. (last two have orchestral works that accompany the stories - lots of fun!) My kids love to listen for the different animals in the music!

You should try Carnival of the Animals too, Wa - it's a lot of fun! my kids pick that cd for quiet time sometime so they can listen for the different animals. (I have two versions, one is just the music cd and the other has the story on the cd too)
