I love reading about warm and cozy drinks and tasty treats! What are your favorite Fall drinks and treats you look forward to? (even if you have them at other times of the year too!) I love Chai tea latte (I buy the k-cups now from Cafe Escapes at Bed, Bath, and Beyond) or a nice orange spice tea. For special treats, I'm going to get a small pack of See's lollipops. last year I bought their sampler one and they were all so good! I just got an email advertising their pumpkin spice ones so that's what made me think of this thread. I want to try those this time! I also love a little carrot cake or apple crisp/fruit cobbler. Yum!

Oh yes! Apple Cider! We have a local place that makes it from different apples on their property. it's hard to pick the best flavor since they rotate about 5 different ones a week. The last one we bought and loved was Gala flavored...it's $ though so that was only our 2nd visit. It's $5 for 1/2 gallon! Def a treat.
I just picked up a Salty Caramel Mocha from starbucks...YUM. I also loooove their caramel apple spice drink...I think thats what it is called.
TENNIS.. our local make their own donuts..so yummy!!!! I know this sounds weird but around Halloween I like to have Frankenberry cereal...
Warm gingerbread with cool whip on top. I actually prefer cool whip to real whipped topping on gingerbread. DH loves applesauce on top of his g'bread.
DH and I always go to a pumpkin farm during my fall break at work, and we buy pumpkins & cushaw. DH roasts the pumpkin seeds with olive oil and sea salt. They're great! I make cushaw pies, and we also roast some with butter and brown sugar. DH likes apple cider, but I don't care for it.
I like warm drinks in general but I do not want them in the summer. They make me too hot. So even just some coffee with a nice creamy hazlenut creamer in it is a treat for me when it starts to get cool. Or I will go back to my nightly cup of tea. I love warm cider or chai tea, too. mmmm. Fall type desserts are my favorite. Anything pumpkin/spice/apple/nutty/oatmealy/brownsugary is my favorite. I am going to make pumpkin apple muffins for our yard sale this weekend. Also, this time of year is when BF drags out his big pot (it's the fall alternative to the grill) and makes a huge vat of chili, veggie soup, or goulash. Tastes awesome, and makes lots of leftovers. And I love fall veggies. One of our favorites for fall is acorn squash stuffed with sausage and a little sprinkle of brown sugar. mmmm. I also love all the cruciferous fall veggies. And apples. And apple donuts. I love fall.

Pumpkin Spice Latte's from Starbuck's and hot chocolate with a candy cane in it. I would have to try the pumpkin pie blizzard this year!
I personally don't have different treats & drinks that I consume only during certain seasons. I rarely drink hot drinks in general. Once in a blue moon, I'll drink hot tea & hot chocolate. But I LOVE the fall season! My local county fair is all Sept & I look forward to the weather changing during that time!
Hot tea (my favorite is Earl Grey le Creme) with honey Hot chai tea or latte Swedish Apple squares Pumpkin bars the aromas alone from those two desserts make my mouth water! I love caramel apples too. I am looking forward to our fall fish fry/clam bake. It is so nice to have family and friends over, have a fire in the fire pit going, and enjoy the cool air! Fall is the best season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's good to be reminded about the positives of the fall season. To me, the weather usually just reminds me that another long, cold Iowa winter is on its way!!! I had recess duty today and I'm already freezing. I absolutely dread the below zero weather!!!
