What is your favorite Christmas song? The songs sung in church are one of my favorite parts!

I love " Silent Night" and " Where are you Christmas?"

I'm a sap for that song about the boy buying the shoes " when his momma meets jesus" :(

O Holy Night. If I was blessed with the gift of singing for one day, I would be singing this song all day. My favorite version is Celine Dion's. Beautiful.

I love Little Drummer Boy! It's such a sweet idea--give the very best of yourself to someone you live. It makes me cry every time!

I like "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming" the best. I also like the old tune of "Away in a Manger."

As far as secular songs, I really like, "What Christmas Means to Me" and "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

I know three settings of "Away in a Manger," and my favorite is one of the British ones (this is my favorite arrangement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejnNnt4Zg8g&feature=related).

For joy, I like "Ding! Dong! Merrily on High", http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mF5tjyeIro0&feature=related - it's one of those carols where it's really fun to be an alto, too. "Sussex Carol" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_cjMeGBo-M&feature=related) is good, too.

For reverence, "In the Bleak Midwinter" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRobryliBLQ)

In general, my favorite Christmas carol is the one I'm singing.

TG, that's the version I was talking about! That's also one of my favorite recordings of that song.

My community band played Lo How a Rose as our warm up piece for many years. It's a beautiful piece!

O Holy Night is my very favorite. I also really like Mary, Did You Know?

I love almost all Christmas music, though. Transiberian Orchestra does Canon in D, which was one of the songs at my wedding, so I really like that one too.

My favorite is The Christmas Song (city sidewalks). My new favorite carol is now Adeste Fidelis (O come all ye Faithful). Tonight in church my boys sang the carol in Latin. They were just being a little bit rebellious and trying to irritate me but I just found it endearing. At least the combined 7 years of Latin classes in HS got a workout.

I was hoping you'd see that Caesar. You won't believe me but I actually thought of you, after I tried to crawl under the pew that is. Then I decided to embrace it. It wasn't really that much fun when they saw that I wasn't mad. They said they shouldn't have put the latin there if they didn't want us to sing it.

I love all of the songs on John Denver and the Muppets A Christmas Together.

I hate Deck the Halls. My name is Holly and my brother and sisters used to sing "deck the halls with parts of Holly, fa lalalalalalala. Hang her toenail from the mantle fa lalalalalalalala.....then they would make up lots of verses just to tease me. My kids think it's funny and they told their band teacher. He now calls the song "Deck the Halls with Leah's mom" haha

I like Christmas in Killarny. Another favorite is O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.
