I need to go find some comfortable walking/exercise shoes. I usually keep the same pair for a few years and with all of the walking I'm doing with my personal trainer (my dog ) my shoes need to be comfortable!

So, what brand do you like and why? I'm familiar with Nike :)

I'm in New Balance right now, it's what a chiropractor recommended.

I only wear New Balance. My husband gets the Road Runner catalog. They show you which kind of shoe you need to wear, based on your foot. I have a very flat foot, so I buy a New Balance shoe that helps me with that condition.

Also, New Balance is American made! Yay!

Tennis shoes hurt my feet (strange, I know).
My pair of Pumas are the first pair I have ever owned that I can comfortably wear! Love them!

My running shoes are Nike and they work really well for me. Lots of people don't like Nike running shoes, but if they work for you, they work for you.

Nike always fits me perfectly. I don't even have to try them on. It's true that different feet will fit better in different brands. The front of my foot is wide, the heel is narrow, and I have a high arch.

I bought some New Balance sneakers for the first time several months ago & I really like them. I'd get that brand again for sure.

If I am looking shoes for workout then I love New Balance. If it's a fashion thing and comfort then nike & puma they give your foot support having a foot with a good arch prevents certain injuries. :)

My husband swears by New Balance. I prefer Saucony myself (a habit I started when I ran cross country in high school). They are the MOST comfortable tennis shoe I've ever owned.

I like Rykas. They're a little narrower in the heel.

I love New Balance. I have VERY narrow, VERY flat feet - and they fit and support my feet well. I've had decent luck with Nike as well - but not as consistently good. I actually have my first pair of Adidas that fit right now - I loved them because they have hot pink on them - and I was praying they'd fit and they do! :) But generally I only look at New Balance.

I do best with New Balance. My doctor said Nike would be good for my overly flat feet. I've been on a walking program for a few months now and have total comfort with my New Balance.

My last two pairs of shoes were Ryka and I loved them! But this summer I couldn't find a Ryka style that fit well so I searched and searched to find a new brand. I finally settled with a very comfy pair of Asics!

Now if only I could wear them to school all the time!!! :D

My husband is a runner and he swears by Nike Shocks (or shox or however it is spelled!) He bought me a matching pair this summer, and while I enjoy them, I am not a tennis shoe person. Give me flip flops or heels any day of the week! I have always heard that New Balance was very good for you.

I must be in the minority, I hate New Balance.

My husband and I are both long distance runners. I usually buy ASICS or ADIDAS. My husband loves Mizumos.

If you want to know what type of shoe is best for you go to an actual shoe store (not Modells, Foot Locker, or Dicks). They usually are best at helping you find the right shoe.

I love Adidas . . . although the last pair I bought were Under Armour. They didn't have the Adidas shoe in stock that I like so I went with UA instead. I've really enjoyed that shoe! My kids (15, 12, 6, 4) all wear Puma. They like them the best for gym, playground, bike riding, etc.

After trying several major brands, the only ones that suit my feet perfectly are Avias. And they're not too expensive!

I tried on a pair of Avia and they're great. I also got them on sale for about half of what I'm used to spending.

I wear New Balance, I have somewhat wide feet, so other shoe brand don't really fit too well, especially Nike
I have only had New Balance tennis shoes for a long time now, and I'm always happy with every pair.
