We can't harvest for you unless you hire us. I've made sure your grass was watered and the weeds cleared.

Then, you need to go to the marketplace and ask to be hired to harvest for other people. That's the way to make more coins, and also hire people to harvest for you b/c you'll make more selling your crops.

All my grapes died. I guess I was supposed to get up in the middle of the night and harvest them.

Now I'm broke and I've been reduced to having to go work on other people's farms to raise cash to grow stuff.

One more setback, and I'm off to California with the Joads.

So I tried going to the marketplace to find work. Seems everyone else there was as desperate as me - poor farmers all looking for work. Los campesinos, es hora para la revolución

Yes, currently, the top level is 34. To get from 33 to 34, you have to go from 120,000 Experience Points to 150,000 Experience Points. I'm going nuts doing this! :eek:hmy:
I had my cabbages and potatoes harvested at 5:00 pm today and I planted it all to those stinkin' grapes. They will be ready to harvest in about half an hour. Then I'll plant more cabbages and potatoes.

Plus, I am working at the Marketplace to get enough coins to buy the million coin mansion members are allowed to buy once they are at the top level.

Here are my top two lines to get jobs at the Marketplace.

just got out of jail - I'M A CROPSTITUTE
    hire a con
    need job
    please help

I need to hire a lawyer - COPS FOUND MY FIELD OF WEED
    need cash
    need job
    help me

    (one more)
My index finger is FAT - NEED EXERCISE
    hire me
    let me
    click for you

Peachyness - Your potatoes are ready for harvest!!!!!!!!!!!!

STG - Next time I'm ready for a harvest, I'll ask you! I have 502 plots that I plant in cabbages and potatoes every day. Plus, I sneek in a crop of grapes when it works out time-wise.

(I have a Farm Town buddy who planted grapes every four hours during her last day in working toward achieving Level 34. She set her alarm clock so that she'd wake up and work at Farm Town!)

Also, STG - I love the way you have arranged your farm! It looks beautiful!

You have to be friends on Facebook first. Then you can request someone to be your neighbor on Farm Town.

So I got some work at some other farms. If you hang out in the marketplace, you can eventually find someone who needs harvesting and it's quite lucrative.

Now, I've decided to start pulling up my current plots which are randomly scattered and replace them with nothing but corn. I don't want anything on my farm that won't bring in revenues.

If I completely cover my farm with corn I can bring in about 50,000 coins every three days.

My transition to corn is going very well. As older crops become ready for harvest, I'm replacing them with corn.

I've renamed my farm "Monsanto Inc." I only wish robots and genetically modified seed were available that could be harvested and grown faster.

Things are looking up. The stockholders of Monsanto Inc. will be pleased.

I've pretty much used every available inch of my farm to grow crops. Crops are picked to maximize profits. According to the spreadsheet I made, it seems that sunflowers are the most profitable, however I haven't ran the numbers for coffee yet.

I'm trying to get my crops all in alignment so I can run one crop at a time. At that point, I'll just plant something that gets harvested every three days. I also plan on expanding the size of the farm as soon as I reach level 15. That means I will probably grow grapes and potatoes since they have the shortest turn-around times and can thus maximize my experience points.

What's with all the houses, animals, barns and stuff people have on their farms. Don't they realize that those things just cut into profits?

Sarge, The name of the game is to amass as much as you can along the way. The more stuff, the more personal success. I have seen some farms just like yours, and I am thinking that your mindset might be the right way to go.

For me, it has been so much fun to set up my farm. I have one area that is for the "farm" things - barn, silos, animals, etc. Then I have a "condo" with four white houses put together.

But, the most fun I've had is to set up my playground area. I have a lemonade stand, two big ponds for swimming pools, a volleyball court, and so on.

I use the scarecrows all over my farm to be the "people" who live there! There's one that is pushing a lawn mower, one in the barn, two playing volleyball, some at the picnic table and grill, one is getting the mail at the mailbox. It's hilarious!

I just would be too bored plowing and planting.
