I'm not sure if everyone was aware of this, but Madeline L'Engle died early in September. She was 88 years old. I know she hadn't published any children's books recently, but she was (and is ) one of my all time favorite authors. I can remember reading A Wrinkle in Time in 8th grade and being so confused I quit half-way through. I picked it up again a few years later and loved it. I am so glad Madeline bcame part of my literary life.
