This was on my desk calendar, Wednesday, and I thought it might be of interest to other teachers and an encouragement to students.

"Architect Gustave Eiffel designed the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, despite having dyslexia and a fear of heights."

An interesting question for discussion: What other famous people have you heard of who have a learning difference?

Joss Stone is dyslexic and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (I'm such a fan girl! lol!).
