I want to start my year studying fairy tales. I plan to compare stories from different cultures, discuss the moral lesson contained in the stories, read and discuss fractured fairy tales, and as a culminating activity write and illustrate our own fractured fairy tales. On my classroom door I am planning to write Once upon a time in third grade..... For my back to school night wish list, I will title it When you wish upon a star... Any other bulletin board/decorating or activity ideas?
