^^^^^ in regards to fairfax county?
So far third grade!
Fun! I would check out the fairfax county school
profile website for the school you're interviewing with. It lists all of the special programs the school offers. It would probably be good to be familiar with the fact that they offer them. Every FFX county school offers something special (year round school, basic school, success by 8, etc). If you see something you're not familiar with, PM me.
I'm also interviewing for jobs in Prince William county and got a lot of interest based on emailing principals. What position are you going for in Prince William? I'm going for both special and regular ed.
Good luck MsBee!!!!
Good luck...hopefully we'll both come back soon and post about getting a job in VA!!

Thanks! I am leaving Monday! Don't know how long I will be there still though.
Another question...someone scared me on another thread.
For Fairfax County do I need to already be in the process for applying for my license in VA. No one ever mentions it in the interviews. Do I need to start the process now and mention this to my interviewers? Do you need the VA license before the first day of school or do you get a provisional one?
I just filled out the form and have started the process TODAY! I want to be on the safe side. Got phone calls to make on Monday before my flight to get this squared away!

I think it would be smart to get started. Given the competitive job market, if the choice was you or a certified candidate...
Sometimes the process can take forever... So good idea getting it started.
