Hi! I teach second grade. I am going to do a fable unit and a tall tale unit this year. Previously, I just read literature for fables and tall tales. But, this year I want to create units for them. Does anyone have fun ways to do units with this kind of literature? I really want to focus on my students be able to identify and understand the genres. Also, I was looking for some creative activities that could go with the units. Thanks!
