Anybody ever get this done? Does it hurt? Does it last longer than regular eyebrow waxing??

I've done it before. I don't think it hurts any more than waxing or plucking, it just takes longer than waxing. I didn't think it lasted that much longer.

My friend and I were just talking about this. She has had her eyebrows and upper lip threaded and she says it hurts a lot more than waxing, because when she had it done the thread that was pulled tight kept rubbing into her skin and felt like it was cutting her, and she said she had to keep her tongue in her lip to give them a surface when they did her lip, and that hurt, too.

She said the only benefit was she didn't get any redness like you might from waxing. And she said it lasted the same as waxing.

Not something I'd do on my own!

I think I might have to try that... my only concern is that I'll slip up and take off too much! :p Thanks for sharing the video, silver. :)

I've done it 2 or 3 times & I like it. The pain is extremely minimal & I'd do it again. I prefer this method over waxing, but I usually just pluck my own eyebrows.

I've done the plucking (w/ tweezers) myself. (Threading, had a salon do it.)

I just tried it after watching the video. I was amazed at how it works. it would be fairly easy to do yourself for some places, but I couldn't imagine doing it for my brows; I just don't think I could be accurate enough.

I probably wouldn't try it on my eyebrows...I'd be afraid I'd mess up horribly.

I go every two weeks! I get my eyebrows done every time and my upper lip every other month. I love how perfect it makes your eyebrows look, you have to find someone who does the shaping really well.

It's very inexpensive, mine costs $6 for eyebrows and $3 for upper lip, cheap if you ask me! :)

Ooops forgot to talk about the pain...well there is none really! The first time it may sting, but you get used to it I guess. I've been doing it for about 5 years now and love it!

I always get mine threaded...I like it because of the reduced redness and it's super quick. I have really thick hair so it works well. I never do it myself, just get it done at a place.
