I was looking for exercise music for our preschoolers.
Possibly a book and a cd..... something we can do inside when the weather is bad. Something like stretching, turning, jumping we can do to music.

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

    Thanks so much

Try "Music & movement in the classroom" written by Steven Traugh. It has some "Physical" movements (it comes with cd & book). I know i've seen cds that only pertain to exercise. Sorry, Can't remember the name of it but i know it exist.

Little Tikes has a really cute dance mix CD. Songs on there-Chicken Dance, Hokey Pokey, Happy and You Know It, Bunny Hop, and several other favorites. Some of the tunes are more "dance mixey" than the traditional tunes, but the kids enjoy it:)

I like that one also. Dr. Jean has some good movement songs on some of her CDs.

A song we used to have in the 70's was the Chicken Fat song that is a narrative on fitness..
goes like this: push ups every morning ten times, not just now and then.. give your chicken fat back to the chicken and dont be chicken again...

I use a cd by Frank Leto. It is an exercise/movement cd all done with steel drums and the kids really enjoy it.
