The school district in which I am applying says for me to include evidence of NCLB compliance and evidence of EL compliance. What documents to I include? The credentialing program actually now includes courses on teaching EL students, so I have complied with that. Do I just write a note saying that? I have no idea how to show compliance of NCLB... Anyone know??

I would think that transcripts and a copy of your crendential would be enough to show NCLB compliance.

CA no longer provides copies of credentials. It's all online!

Here's what LA Unfied requires for NCLB compliance:

    Have a bachelor’s degree.
    Have state certification.
Demonstrate subject matter competence in each core academic subject taught.
    * This is done by passing a series of subject matter tests - called CSETs in California - or by having taking just the right classes during your BA. The head of your department at school can review your transcripts to see if you have taken all the required classes in your subject area.

Ok, well I have all of those, so I guess that's my evidence...

I am looking for a job and I just renewed my credential (last week). I have printed out what they have online for my credential (the more specific version, not the printer friendly version). If you have passed the CSET, then also include that when you are applying.

This is strange for me, I have a paper copy of my credential for my first credential, but they can look up my renewal if they want to.
