We had horrible weather come through today. Several tornadoes touched down in the area. Many homes lost. My best friend's neighborhood was destroyed by a tornado. Their house is safe, but neighbors lost homes, cars, everything. Hopeing everyone here is safe!

We had a fierce storm come through this morning with high winds and hail. It's snowed here just a bit, but nothing sticking. I'm sorry to hear that people have lost everything on Christmas. :(

It's good to hear from you, Christy. Did you have any warning about the tornadoes coming?

We did have several warnings throughout the day. I was at my parents and none hit near there. The ones that hit were about 10 - 15 miles away from my house. My friend just told me that her neighborhood looks even worse than it did when Hurricane Gustav came through. It reminds me of when a tornado tore through the town I used to live at during Thanksgiving many years ago.

Thank you! I was supposed to go home in a few hours but that is when the storms are expected to come through here. So, I think I will stay at my parents instead! I don't like storms!!!

We are having some crazy weather here; woke up to several inches of snow(doggie loves it!), and while I was having breakfast we also had some lightning and thunder while snow continues to fall!

We are supposed to head to Cleveland tomorrow, but will have to check on the roads first.

Well, it never got really bad here. There had been a tornado watch nearby but not for my county. We are dealing with windy conditions that have knocked out some power.
