Ever had a teaching interview at somewhere other than a school. Tomorrow afternoon I have an interview at a Denny's. The school is in W. Texas. Th P just happens to be in town for some other meetings so when I emailed him last week he offered to meet me close to home. Woohoo! Anyway it's for first grade and possibly other position. Going to treat just like any other interview.
That is hilarious! =) Very informal, maybe it will be less stressful then. I haven't heard of anyone having an interview outside of the school or district office. Good luck!!
:haha: No!! That's crazy!! Good luck! I'm sure the nervousness that comes from interviews will go away in a Denny's.
That should be interesting! Good luck! That's great that you're able to do this interview close to your house, though!
Yeah, Denny's is a twist. It is super nice of him to meet you like that. When I hired a DJ for my wedding we had an appointment at Denny's. I thought that was odd, but a teaching interview beats that by a long shot. Good Luck
Must be a pretty laid back principal if he doesn't mind conducting an interview in Denny's. Good luck!!!
I had an interview in a hotel conference room once last summer... but apparently they had reserved it for the entire day, for that very purpose. The school building itself was under remodeling for the summer. Not quite a Denny's, but a different experience...
Not a brand new school but its only 7 years old. I will be teaching first grade next year. Now the fun part of moving me,3 kids, a husband, a couple of pets and get a classroom set up before Aug 2 when I have to be there for some PD.
