ok... I’ve started a weight lifting workout routine and am tracking my progress via composition notebook. So for the past 3 weeks, I’ve seen my progress advance as I know how much I lifted last week and can set my new workout routine knowing what I did before...... so if I can do this to track my own progress to see improvement or to see where I might get stuck, I wondered why couldn’t I do this with my math students! So... who here has students who track and log their own data... what kind of data do they write down? How is goal setting achieved? For example, with weightlifting, I see more repetitions at higher weights... what’s the academic equivalent to track??
