I'm working on putting together a "Save the environment" theme for my 5th grade classroom this year. The classroom motto is "Our World... Our Responsibility!" Any ideas?

I thought about this idea, too. But in the interest of ease and cost effectivness, I just went with something I've done in the past.

The irony is there's a TON of stuff for this theme this year. But my thought was if your going to do it, you probably shouldn't buy a lot of stuff. Reuse!!

I thought about making signs or letters on brown paper bags. Sorry, that's as far as I got before I changed my mind.

You could sign up the class to recycle things with TerraCycle. We do the juice pouches and chip bags. You could use the items for sorting... sort each flavor.

You can reuse and make the room full of environmental print by using cereal and other food boxes for cutting out bulletin board letters or borders.
