Anyone know of great picture books to teach environmental concepts? I have the Great Kapok Tree, Prince William, the Lorax, the Wump World, and Just A Dream. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

My FAVORITE environmental book is What Planet Are You From, Clarice Bean? by Lauren Child. It is educational, environmental, and downright hilarious.

You could also use Who's In Maxine's Tree? by Diane Carmel Leger and And the Good Brown Earth by Kathy Henderson (but this one might be a bit young for your 4th graders).

We just had two environmental books at our school book fair. I don't remember author, but I believe the titles were Michael Recycle and Our Class is Going Green
