    Hi!

I'm applying for a clinic aide position at a new elementary school. I have 3 years HS science experience...and some clinic experience b/c my first school had no nurse...and since I was health teacher...I was the 'nurse'...haha

my mom is one of the head nurses for the county...and this school (brand new) falls in the group she supervises (she checks on each clinic every week to make sure it is run properly)
i'm guessing the P only granted me interview as a favor to my mom...but oh well...I will still try my hardest..

what kinds of questions would you ask a potential clinic aide that you were interviewing (i am certified in cpr and first aid)

what qualities would you like to see in the clinic aide?

any help would be much appreciated!

my interview is tomorrow morning at 8am

We don't actually hire the nurse (and we don't even have aide positions.) All of our nursing postions are filled through the health department, and report to the health department. Sorry I can't help. I would think hardworking, reliable, patient, knowledgeable would be the key things they are looking for.

Good luck with the interview. Remember, it doesn't matter "why" you are getting the interview -- it is up to you to do the most with it.

    Wishing you every success.

They might ask you a lot of what if questions.
What if a student walks into the office with a bloody nose and you can't find your gloves?

What do you do if a student drops his Ritalin (sp) on the floor?

What do you do if you can't find anyone on the emergency list?

    Good luck!
