I'm envisioning making "reference sheets" for my eighth grade ELA students to keep in their binders all year. I want these to be one page each, easy to read and understand, and practical. Something that they can look back to if they happen to forget something that they "should" know. However, summer is frying my brain and I need some suggestions. So far, the only ideas I have are prefixes/suffixes/roots and commonly misspelled words. Do you guys have any other "reference sheet" ideas that would be helpful for middle schoolers to utilize in the ELA classroom?
