This may sound strange, but you have responded to several of my posts and I have read your responses to many other posts. You are so helpful and well-spoken and your advice is much appreciated! I am curious about your educational and professional background, if you don't mind sharing?
    :wow:

Ha! You're far too kind :) - just an education geek like everyone else here. I'm sort of a nontraditionalist, though - I've spent most of my time in nonprofits related to behavioral and academic intervention for at-risk kids, but have a background in school psychology, so yeah - a little all over the place! How about you?

How long have you been in the field? What is/are your degree(s) in? You can tell me to stop being nosey at any time!

nstructor, I never said I wasn't also a teacher before too :), but I'll leave it at that. I actually appreciate this forum because there is an equal sharing of ideas regardless of how long you've been in the field, what degree you have, what state you are in, etc. Ideas are just ideas - they're either worth something or not because of their merit, not because of the letters behind your name or how far up you are on the seniority ladder.

Sorry to keep you guessing sunni11 :)

Cool. My masters degree is in behavior analysis, I did research for several years at a university before getting certified to teach.
