I've never purchased anything on eBay before now. I got a Cricut machine for Christmas and wanted some cartridges. They are very costly, so I looked on eBay, as suggested by someone on these boards. Wow, cartridges for $0.99! I knew they'd be more than that, but I figured I could go up to 1/2 of retail and be very, very happy. So I bid on a bunch of them.

Today, husband told me I could just type in what my highest bid would be and the system would keep bidding for me until the item went above that price. Great, so I put the 1/2 of retail price into a lot of them and went on my way.

So guess what? I won TWO of the same dang cartridges. I did not notice that in the bunch I had chosen the same one twice. And I won both for the 1/2 of retail prices I set in. Great. Now I have two for one! Just TWO of the same for the price of ONE.

    Kicking myself.

Which is it? I might buy it if I don't already have it. :)

I've never sold on eBay either. Maybe Craigslist. Or am I being afraid of eBay for no reason?

Aw man, I have that! I don't have that many either.

I buy and sell on eBay regularly and have for years. Only one or two questionable transactions as most people are super honest, understanding, and helpful. :)

JustMe, well, the teacher slant to the cartridge made it pretty likely you might have it. Oh, well! There are not too many cartridges I want. I want to make bulletin board words and shapes. Not greeting cards. But whatever.

    Happy New Year!
