I usually do the cooking for the holidays and am hoping to try out some new recipes. Does anyone have some favorite Easter Recipes to share?
I do brunch every year: Baked ham A frittata Bagels A spinach dish Sometimes I'll do a pasta dish for the kiddos Fruit salad Mimosa bar
Yes, ham is what we usually have. This year we're doing a beef tenderloin. I am going to set out a fancy cheese board to start along with some veggies and dip. My husband's family isn't too fond of most veggies so I'm making a green bean casserole and maybe some sweet potatoes. Dessert will be French Macaroons and cake.
I made cheesy potatoes once and it was so good. I got it from a restaurant copy cat cookbook and the whole casserole dish was empty in no time. I don't even think I got any lol
If I'm hosting, we'll be having turkey (we didn't have it at Christmas because I had just broken my wrist and cooking a turkey was beyond what I was going to try to do!). Dessert is always pavlova with whipped cream and fresh fruit.
Hubby makes them. Instead of drizzling butter over the corn flakes he sprays them using a butter pam.. they turn out so good!!!
