    YAY for pants! LOL

Bless their hearts! It must be rough if you have to get drunk because your teaching job sucks that badly! *SMH*

Wow. But glad that she was able to keep her pants on!

Well, some people have to drink to get through the day. Others have to drink to forget their day so they can get up the next morning and go back.

Geez, if you suspect you're too drunk to drive, why would you go to work?

But yes, at least she had on pants. Smh.

Imagine the person who hired her, having to explain to their superiors, about how this person got into their classroom and the shitstorm it's probably causing in the area.

She looks a little rough. But at least she wore pants and had enough sense to not endanger lives by driving.

I guess she learned she needed to wear her pants after that other teacher was in the news. Maybe she thought if she had her pants on, then no one would notice that she was drunk.

Wow. Mainly I'm baffled by the fact she knew she was too drunk to drive, but that she still went to work. But then again I do not know all that much about how an alcoholic's brain works and what they feel they can do while drinking and what is off limits.

Drunk with pants is definitely a step up from drunk without pants. Sheesh.

I'm slightly comforted that her drinking problem wasn't brought on by AZ public schools.

How long have AZ schools been in session? I'm glad I'm not the person who hired her. I can't imagine that was a pleasant conversation. So how many alcohol related incidents before your license is in jeopardy?

Some Arizona schools started this past week, some the Thursday before on August 7. Some haven't started yet. Each district is different and AZ has over 50 school districts.

Unless the laws have changed a lot since I first got my teacher's certificate in AZ, there is enough against this teacher to revoke her teacher's certificate. Whether they actually will or not is another story.

It's sad when people's lives take such a turn.

We had a teacher who was arrested after she was found passed out in her car one morning. Alcoholism took everything she had. Her daughter was born severely disabled. Her husband left. She lost custody of her child. She lost three teaching jobs. She eventually lost her life before she was 50. Very sad.
