Anyone want to help? I need to find a dress for my brother's best friend's wedding. It is at the end of October and it will be outside - ceremony at a state park and the reception will be in a tent by a river. So I am looking for something casual, and something that I might be able to pair with tights and/or some kind of cover-up or that has a little sleeve.

I am plus size and bigger on bottom than on top, so I usually have to wear things that are not straight cut on the bottom - a-line or flowy. I want to avoid black - I actually have plenty already that I could wear if I just did black.

Here are a few I have seen so far that I am considering, but other suggestions are welcome.

I agree! I think that one is the best especially considering that it will be the last week of October.

I vote for the 3rd one. If it's nice enough, you could wear it without a sweater or jacket but I think if it's chilly it would look good with a jacket or a shrug or even tights.
Honestly, I like them all. You have good taste.

A couple of them I might even be able to get away with at work. I think I will stop in dress barn and macys and try some things on. the Macy's here is awful - they never have a good selection. Might have to make a road trip to the good Macy's.

I like the last one a lot. That purple color is a good one for fall. It does depend on which one looks good on you, so it's great that you can go try on.

I LOVE the second dressbarn dress! I think the tiered one might make you look hippy if you are heavier on bottom? I hate the 4th one! The others are all good.

I ended up getting the second dress barn one. The first one looked awful - the fabrics on the top and bottom are different material so they look different colors.

The one I got is great though. It makes my waist look really small. Now the problem will be staying warm. Will have to figure out something to wear with it.
