Dr. Suess- Poetry or Fantasy?

    How would you classify most Dr. Suess books?

    I just put Dr Seuss in an author basket.

    I would go with fantasy, because it was intended to be a story when written.

    I don't think fantasy poetry is an official genre, but it certainly makes sense. :)

    I thought fantasy, but when I look it up, most people say poetry.

    I don't have enough room for author baskets :(

    General fiction/comedy is how Scholastic categorizes.
